The Beatles Bootleg Albums
Olympia Theatre, Paris, France
Recorded In January 1964
A newly found tape featuring unbooted "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Long Tall Sally" plus fragments of "From Me To You".
Liner notes: This album brings you for the very first time the most complete available recordings of The Beatles Olympia season in Paris in January 1964. "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Long Tall Sally" have never appeared on disc before. "This Boy", "From Me To You" and "Twist And Shout" have never sounded so good, beating the sound quality of the most excellent album, "Les Beatles A Paris"
Restored and/or recompiled from the 1978 2LP set on White Knight WK-271.
Many of the recordings on this set have been replaced by upgraded audio sources
that came out in the years since the album was released. This was not only due to
the often poor quality of the record sources, but also the abysmal pressing quality,
particularly of disc 2. In order to fit both LPs on 1 CD, one track was omitted:
"Oh My Love" by The Wackers, which was not the Lennon demo it is claimed to be.
Varying sound quality, July/August 1963 recordings from "Pop Go The Beatles".
