 Split Enz [N.Z.] - Discography

The greatest New Zealand rock band, they evolved from quirky art rockers into a pop powerhouse thanks to the skills of the brothers Finn.

Hi Allan

Thank you for Anniversary. I only had a 128 copy of that album.

Here are a few more Split Enz albums

1992-Oddz & Enz 1973-1979 - this and 1992-Rear Enz 1980-1984 are bonus rarities discs from two "complete" box sets.

2000-Other Enz: Split Enz & Beyond Vol.1 is a brilliant compilation of other bands and projects by Split Enz band members. This is my rip with full scans.

2007-Live in America

2007-The Rootin Tootin Luton Tapes [1978] comprises recordings from demo sessions for "Frenzy" (I think). This is the 2 disc "Frenz Of The Enz" version. For some reason my local JB Hi-Fi had one copy of the fan club version among all the single disc copies.

G'day Allan, thanks for the Split Enz collection, there were a few here I was missing. Still remember seeing them when they first came to Australia in the 70's. They were on a bill with AC/DC and Skyhooks (!) and got booed off!! Glad they stuck it out, classic band.

Thanks for this fantastic collection. I've looked everywhere for the Luton Tapes and See Ya Round, glad I'm finally able to hear them! My only experience with Split Enz when they were still active was hearing "One Step Ahead" and "I Got You" on the radio. I finally got to hear the rest of their stuff this year, and I think they are fantastic, and woefully underrated here in North America. But I'm a convert, guess it's never too late! Thanks again.

I've been looking for Split Enz early albums for a long time, thanks for sharing. What releases did you use please?, I'd like to download cover scans from Discogs...

One of Oz's (NZ!!) best ever bands - but too quirky for many to accept.
