John Lennon
The Lost Lennon Tapes was a weekly one-hour radio show that ran on the Westwood One Radio Network from 1988-1992. It was distributed to stations each week on two LPs (except the three-hour premiere show which was on five LPs). It was also broadcast on their satellite feed Mondays from 7:30pm-8:30pm Pacific Time.
The original theme of the show was to air unreleased recordings John had made. Those recordings were bootlegged onto a 35-volume set of LPs on Bag Records, and also onto a 22-volume CD set, both of which omit the interviews, commentary, and repeated airings of the same recording.
John & Yoko's longtime friend Elliot Mintz was the host of most episodes in the series. When it ended in March 1992, it was followed up by a series called The Beatle Years, which was distributed on CD.
As one would expect, most of the best unreleased material was aired in the first year or two. After some time, the series would often use many commonly available recordings in each show, instead of packing it with unreleased material. But some items were held back so that even in the last year there was material aired that had not been heard before.

Thanks for posting the Lost Lennon Tapes AND the Jerry Jeff Walker discography. I had most of this in my collection already, it's great to find something I didn't have. Very much appreciated...thank you.
