Cass Elliot [Mama Cass] - Discography - 320kbps

Mama Cass Elliot

Mama Cass Elliot
Born: September 19, 1941 - Died: July 29, 1974
Best-known as one of the singers of the renowned '60s psychedelic pop outfit the Mamas & the Papas, Cass Elliot (or Mama Cass), was born Ellen Naomi Cohen on September 19, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, but grew up in Washington, D.C. It was during her senior year in high school that Elliot began singing (as well as acting), relocating to New York City by the early '60s and eventually touring in a production of The Music Man. With the folk music movement sweeping the nation around this time, Elliot formed the Big Three with other members Tim Rose and James Hendricks, issuing a few underappreciated albums (Live at the Recording Studio, The Big 3). The group eventually metamorphosized into the Mugwumps after Rose was replaced by a few other members, including Denny Doherty, but with only an obscure single to show for their hard work, the Mugwumps were kaput by 1964. To make a long story short, Elliot and Doherty eventually teamed up with the husband/wife team of John and Michelle Phillips, forming the Mamas & the Papas by the mid-'60s. Although the group would only remain together for a few short years, their impact on the rock music world was great, resulting in such classic hit singles as "California Dreamin'," "Monday Monday," and "I Saw Her Again," among others.

The download site used here is useful but a pain to get more than a few files from because it's making you wait an hour between downloads. So it does take some determination. Took a couple days but I know the music is worth it. Take that as an observation and not a complaint. Thank you OG for Mama Cass!

Hi mrRadio
The only reason that I used that host was because they do not delete files if reported by the jerks being rsoles.

I shall change it to another for you my friend, keep watching for the change.

Don't bother to change.. I got all of it already and like I said.. it works, just took awhile. These sites change their rules, and maybe based on location too. I like this download site because, as you stated.. their files almost always seem to be there. I don't think they used to make you wait as much for the smaller files tho. I'm sure it's their way to prod people to pay money. They could change policy again tomorrow so I'd just leave your stuff there for now. For the six albums here it's not so bad really, the wait. My point which I should have stated clearer is if the artist had sixty albums it would be frustrating to get them all and having to wait between each one. I appreciate your insight into why you used them and understand your reason. Thank you again for your kind feedback. It encourages people to leave more comments and I believe you are looking for more of that now. Take care.

Thank you.
I understood what you were indicating and all good, I appreciate your comments.
My feedback is basically because I have always been a communicator.
Thanks again mate.
I will be moving Mamma Cass as I am not paying 1f anymore due to them again changing their rules that becomes a nightmare for uploaders.

There is another Cass Elliot LP not included here, "The Road Is No Place for a lady". It was unavailable for many years, but has finally been reissued on CD.
